Prof. Jasbir Kaur Makkar excelled in academics throughout her career. She is the recipient of ‘Student of the year award (twice) by Hon’ble Governor of Haryana. Apart from academics, she is passionate about sports. She has found her way out in bringing many laurels for games. She has received a silver medal in Athletics at National level along with Silver Medal in Haryana State Cycling Championship. She represented Kurukshetra University twice in Kho-Kho at Inter University Championship. She has more than 20 medals (Gold, Silver & Bronze) to her credit at various Inter-Collegiate Sports Championships. Along with her team, she has organized several National and International Conferences.
