Greetings!

GNIMS Business School organized an insightful and engaging session on “Business News Analysis” for its students on 12th August 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 5th Floor, Classroom 504. The session was conducted by Prof. Kapil Bhopatkar, an expert analyst and educator.

The session focused on developing students’ ability to read, understand, analyse, and critically evaluate business news. Prof. Bhopatkar explained how current developments in markets, the economy, businesses, industries, and emerging trends can influence managerial decisions and the overall business environment.

Through relevant examples and interactive discussions, students learned to identify the key facts, causes, implications, trends, and possible future outcomes associated with business news. The session also provided students with a structured roadmap for analysing business news and connecting current events with real-world business situations.

The interactive nature of the session encouraged students to participate actively, ask questions, and share their perspectives. Students found the session highly informative, relevant, and useful for developing their analytical and critical-thinking skills.
